gary4juce v4.0.7 is a small Windows VST3 maintenance release focused on popup state and lifecycle management.

Update reminders and other plugin-owned dialogs now close with the plugin instead of lingering during DAW shutdown. The same lifecycle audit covered backend and support dialogs, prompt and lyrics popouts, preset choosers, audio-selection windows, and asynchronous popup callbacks.

Backend outage messages now distinguish a local gary4local service from the self-hosted remote backend and give the appropriate recovery steps.

This release has been thoroughly tested in Ableton Live. Final confirmation from Fender Studio One users is still welcome; please let us know on Discord or Twitter/X if you encounter any remaining shutdown behavior.
