💡 Background: The Two Barriers in the Video Generation AI Era

With the evolution of Google Veo, OpenAI Sora, MiniMax, Runway, and others, we’ve entered an era where anyone can create high-quality video. But when you try to create a promotional video (PV) for your own app, you hit two major barriers:

  1. Endless Prompt Trial-and-Error: Breaking down scenes, designing camera work, allocating runtime, and crafting English prompts takes enormous time and effort.
  2. Disconnect from the Real App: Generic prompts produce UI and tone & manner that look nothing like the actual product, failing to serve as a promo for your app.

AppPromoVideo doesn’t generate the video itself. Instead, it specializes in crafting the ultimate instruction set and reference images for video generation AI.

  • Extracts the color palette from UI snapshots and builds background prompts that match your app’s world.
  • Composites background images with real screenshots, automatically applying rounded corners, drop shadows, and headline copy.
  • Supports 3 image generation providers: ComfyUI (fully local & free), Gemini, and OpenAI (images/edits).

3. 🛡 Secure & Sandboxed Local CLI Execution

  • Instead of calling LLM HTTP APIs directly, it launches an authenticated local CLI (claude -p / Aider, etc.) as a secure subprocess on your machine.
  • Read-only design that prevents any modification to your repository.
  • Reliably terminates descendant processes via Windows Job Object / Unix pgid to prevent zombie processes.
  • API keys are stored only in a local .env file and are never exposed in plaintext to the WebView (frontend).

4. 🖥 Desktop GUI & Scriptable CLI

  • A lightweight, intuitive desktop GUI built with Tauri 2 + Vue 3.
  • Includes a promo CLI binary for batch execution of pipelines from the terminal or CI.

既存アプリのリポジトリと UI スナップショットから、動画生成 AI にそのまま貼れる「シーン別プロンプト」と「参照画像」を出力するデスクトップツール Outcasts AppPromoVideo (v0.1.1) を初公開しました！

💡 開発の背景：動画生成 AI 時代の「2つの壁」

Google Veo、OpenAI Sora、MiniMax、Runway など、動画生成 AI の進化により誰でも高品質な映像を作れる時代になりました。しかし、自作アプリのプロモーション動画（PV）を作ろうとすると、2つの壁に突き当たります：

  1. プロンプトの試行錯誤: シーン割り・カメラワーク・尺配分・英語プロンプトの組み立てに膨大な時間と労力がかかる。
  2. 実アプリとの乖離: 汎用プロンプトでは、生成される UI やトーン＆マナーが実物からかけ離れ、「自分のアプリの宣伝」にならない。

AppPromoVideo は動画そのものを作るのではなく、「動画生成 AI への最高の指示書と参照画像」を仕立てることに特化したツールです。

✨ 主な機能

1. 🎯 ワンクリックで貼れるシーン別プロンプト (Ready-to-Paste)

  • リポジトリ構造（README・マニフェスト等）からアプリの強みと差別化ポイントを自動抽出。
  • 15秒 / 30秒 / 60秒 の尺、および各種アスペクト比（16:9 / 9:16 / 1:1）に対応。
  • Veo や Sora の入力欄に合わせた英語プロンプトを、シーン単位・全シーン一括でクリップボードに即座にコピーできます。

2. 🎨 実画面に忠実な参照画像合成 (Visual Consistency)

  • UI スナップショットからカラーパレットを抽出し、アプリの世界観に合わせた背景プロンプトを構成。
  • 背景画像と実スクショを合成し、角丸・ドロップシャドウ・見出しコピーを自動焼き込み。
  • ComfyUI（完全ローカル・無課金）、Gemini、OpenAI (images/edits) の 3 つの画像生成プロバイダに対応しています。

3. 🛡️ 安全なローカル CLI 実行 (Secure & Sandboxed)

  • LLM の HTTP API を直接叩くのではなく、手元のマシンで認証済みのローカル CLI（claude -p / Aider 等）を安全なサブプロセスとして起動。
  • リポジトリの改変を防ぐ読み取り専用設計。
  • Windows Job Object / Unix pgid による子孫プロセスの確実な終了で、プロセスのゾンビ化を防ぎます。
  • API キーはローカルの .env にのみ保存され、WebView（フロントエンド）に平文を一切露出させない安全設計です。

4. 🖥️ デスクトップ GUI ＆ スクリプタブルな CLI

  • Tauri 2 + Vue 3 による軽快で直感的なデスクトップ GUI を提供。
