Bex branding now covers application identity, executables, installers, release assets, desktop integration, CLI help, and product UI text across macOS, Windows, and Linux.

  • Download packages use Bex-* and bex-* filenames.
  • First launch imports the legacy profile into Bex directories while preserving the original. SQLite databases are copied using a consistent snapshot.
  • The update feed accepts both Bex and legacy Zed asset requests so existing clients can upgrade.
  • Compatibility aliases and upstream attribution are retained where required.

Upstream base: Zed 1.20.0 (b1a7ef0).
