0.27.2
Six documents were still describing a deviation that closed in 0.27.0. Cutting a release does not update the prose that describes what it changed, and this repository's own rule is that a claim the code does not support is not made. These were making one.
Changed
-
README.md,docs/status.mdandwhere-this-stands.mdsaid "no durable backend implements the storage contract — the contract still has one implementor and it is in memory". It has three, and the sixteen suites run against all of them. -
docs/guide/backend.mdtold an adopter writing their own backend thataep-backend-markdown"implements neither trait and the suites cannot be pointed at it" — the page whose whole job is to explain what implementing the contract means. It now says what the two durable backends do, including that neither reimplements the contract: each hands every command to the in-memory reference and adds durability, so idempotency, revision conflicts and the audit a refusal leaves are decided once rather than twice. -
website/docs/status/limitations.mdcarried the old storage limitation. It now carries the two that are real —protocol conformanceruns only in-memory, anddescribe_typereports no lifecycle — plus one that was not written down anywhere:aep-backend-sqlitedoes not hydrate on open and refuses a row it did not write, because deferring hydration is a decision and destroying data is not. -
harness-planning-and-driver-design-v0.1.mdmarks D-P1 closed and D-P5 still open — the latter noted with the fact that an acceptance line claimed it closed until a review caught it.
Fixed
- Nothing in the code. Everything here is prose that had stopped being true, and it is listed rather than quietly corrected because when a document stopped matching the code is the part that tells you how it happened.
