  • aep artifact board --format markdown writes the board as a page: one section per column, a table per section, and each artifact's external references linked through the project's own providers: map. It exists because every consumer that published a board rebuilt it from --format json and carried two things beside the renderer — a Mermaid writer duplicating graph, and a hard-coded map of status to blurb, which is a second copy of a vocabulary the ladders own in a file nothing validates.
  • aep artifact graph --format mermaid writes a flowchart LR. Node ids are mangled and carry the real id as a label, because Mermaid gives : and / meaning inside an id and an artifact id has both.
  • A lifecycle document may carry descriptions: — one line per rung, in that ladder's own words. draft on a design is not draft on a task, which is why it is per ladder rather than a table of status names. Filled in for story, task and design; the other ladders say nothing, which stays a real answer. A rendered column takes a description only where every kind standing in it agrees, rather than presenting one kind's prose as covering the others.
  • aep artifact evidence <id> --from <report> reads an ess-conformance-report/1 instead of taking a kind, a source and an instant typed by hand. The instant is the report's own completed_at: a caller who supplies it can supply now for a run that happened last week, which is the back-dating by omission evidence horizons exist to catch. It refuses a report of no scenarios — a suite that ran nothing also failed nothing — one with no spec_digest, and a document of another format. A red report is recorded as readily as a green one, because whether it permits a move is the ladder's decision.
