Windows SmartScreen asks for confirmation: More info, then Run anyway.
On macOS clear the quarantine flag with xattr -d com.apple.quarantine arca arca-gui.
The Windows 11 context menu needs Developer Mode; the classic one, under
Show more options, works without it.
See the installation guide.

⚠ BREAKING CHANGES
- 7z: arca-core's Method gains LZMA/LZMA2/Bzip2 variants and Format moves to arca_core::Format; downstream code that matched exhaustively or defined its own Format must migrate.
- rar: Entry.crc32 is now Option; use Some for known ZIP CRCs and None for unavailable checksums. Method::code() now returns Result so callers must propagate or handle errors for non-ZIP methods.

Arca v0.7.2
Binaries
Unpack and put arca on your PATH. Check the download against
SHA256SUMS.txt:
sha256sum -c SHA256SUMS.txt --ignore-missingWindows
Use the installer, arca-setup-*.exe. It puts Arca in Installed apps
with its own uninstaller, adds both Explorer context menus, the file
associations and the PATH entry. The .zip is just the loose binaries
and integrates with nothing.
Not signed
These binaries carry no code signature. Windows will show a
SmartScreen warning and macOS a Gatekeeper one; on macOS clear it
with xattr -d com.apple.quarantine arca. Signing needs a paid
certificate and is on the pending list.
The modern Windows 11 menu also needs Developer Mode, because it is
registered as an unsigned sparse MSIX package. Without it the classic
menu, under "Show more options", still works.
