Menu Bar Spacing 1.0.1

Existing users — update in the app

Open Menu Bar Spacing → About (the circled i button) → Updates → Check Now. Choose Download & Install, then Install Now when the download is ready. Approve the macOS administrator prompt; the app relaunches after installation.

New installation

Download MenuBarSpacing.zip below, extract Menu Bar Spacing.app, and move it to Applications before opening it.

Manual fallback

If the updater is unavailable, inaccessible, or fails, quit Menu Bar Spacing and replace the app in Applications with the extracted copy, then reopen it. Your saved settings are retained.

Changes in 1.0.1 (build 2)

• Universal distribution now includes both Apple Silicon (arm64) and Intel (x86_64) binaries.
• Corrected the main-window version display to match the installed app version.
• Built with the macOS 27 SDK. Recorded checks on macOS 27 covered launch, version display, saved settings, and quit/relaunch persistence. These checks do not cover every hardware configuration or update-installation path.

Requirements

macOS 14 Sonoma or later. Apple Silicon or Intel Mac. Both binary slices retain the macOS 14 deployment target.
