ConcordeAI 7.0 nightly 76baa35

  • Kit tests: wait for the in-flight count to settle and give the inhibitor test 30 s (flaky under load)
  • Benchmark Stop does not wait for memory to settle; the settings-rail chevron mutant changes every copy of the rule
  • Merge branch 'benchload-1009' into batch-two
  • Merge branch 'foldsections-1010' into batch-two
  • Merge branch 'wakewhite-1009' into batch-two
  • Gauntlet: the Max-seats check names the handler's own site, so its mutant is caught again
  • Sidebar: Pinned and Recents fold up from their headings (6b470)
  • Gauntlet anchors follow the merged code: route resolution inside _resolve_route, Max seats at their new indent, srvBoost in the node harnesses
  • Benchmark on this computer: a stalled load is cut with its reason, Skip this model, a crowded machine says so (6b469)
  • A wake is a fresh idle: lights come out of sleep white, fans at 20% (6b468)

ConcordeAI 6.1

Chats no longer get lost, and the app only answers its own window.

  • Chats stay put. The app saves each question the moment you ask it and each answer as it finishes, or as far as it got if you press Stop or quit. Funnels save every step, the summary included. The old 60-chat limit is gone, pinned chats are never cleared, and a chat file that can't be read is never treated as empty.
  • Backdrops that vary. The shelf keeps day and night clips apart, finishes half-downloaded clips first, remembers what you've seen, and changes scene every hour with a crossfade.
  • Maps draw again, on OpenFreeMap's dark style.
  • One window, one owner. The app answers only its own window, with a key and a per-launch token; the old web version, browser mode and anything arriving through a proxy are gone.
  • Settings always opens on About, links the website, and calls the beta channel Prerelease.
  • Weather for a zip code names the zip.

macOS — download the .dmg. Existing installs update themselves.

Windows — the .msi installer (attached by CI a few minutes after
release) needs nothing else: no Python, no admin. On an NVIDIA machine CUDA
is used automatically. The .zip is the same app for people who prefer a
portable copy (needs Python 3.10+).

ConcordeAI 6.1 RC1

The first release candidate of 6.1. Chats no longer get lost, and the app only answers its own window.

@bigmillz bigmillz released this 27 Sep 00:21

ConcordeAI 6.1 beta 1

The first beta of 6.1. It runs on Windows, and it makes more than words.

  • Windows. The Windows version starts, chats, searches the web, reads answers aloud and takes voice input, on Intel, AMD and ARM PCs. Every model runs through Ollama, which the app installs for you; an ARM PC gets the native ARM build.
  • Video. Ask for a short clip and ConcordeAI renders it on your Mac, like pictures. A colour-coded size ladder shows what each quality setting costs before you pick it.
  • Export to twenty formats. Ask for "that as a PDF", a Word document, a spreadsheet, slides, a calendar file, CSV and more, and a download box appears.
  • Models that stay current. After every app update, newer versions of the models you have are offered, and outdated ones are cleared out. The catalog now runs to September 2026.
  • The right cloud model for each job, once a cloud key is added.
  • Weather that answers. "What's the weather in Chicago right now" gets live numbers however it's phrased.
  • Giant models for 512 GB+ systems, behind their own switch.
  • Removed: Contribute (lending your computer to other users) and the free community image cloud.

macOS — download the .dmg. Existing installs update themselves.

Windows — the .msi installer (attached by CI a few minutes after
release) needs nothing else: no Python, no admin. On an NVIDIA machine CUDA
is used automatically. The .zip is the same app for people who prefer a

6.0.4

Choose a tag to compare

@bigmillz bigmillz released this 20 Sep 16:26

ConcordeAI 6.0.4

The beta proved out, so this is the same build, promoted. Ask for a picture and you get one.

  • Image generation. Ask for "an image of a cat" and ConcordeAI paints it instead of describing it. It runs entirely on your Mac once you add it under Settings › Models, in about a minute a picture. Without it, a cloud key or the free community cloud fills in. Add it from Manage models, or from the setup wizard on a new install.
  • Model downloads tell the truth. Picking a preset used to sit at 100% doing nothing while the real downloads ran unseen. The bar now counts what you actually started, names what is moving, and the pane keeps you posted until it finishes. The preset matching your disk is marked.
  • Enable visual effects, in Settings › About. It replaces performance mode and now switches only the moving backdrop. Spinners, animations and the rest are no longer affected.
  • Check for updates automatically is now yours to choose. On, it checks at launch and once a day. Off, nothing checks until you press the button.
  • A tidier top left. The settings cog sits beside the new-chat button, and the update badge is a small arrow rather than an oversized pill.

macOS — download the .dmg. Existing installs update themselves.

Windows — the .msi installer (attached by CI a few minutes after

is used automatically. The .zip is the same app for people who prefer a

ConcordeAI 6.0.4 beta 1

The first beta of the 6.0.4 line. Ask for a picture and you get one.

  • Image generation. Ask for "an image of a cat" and ConcordeAI paints it instead of describing it. FLUX.1 schnell runs entirely on your Mac once you add it under Settings › Models, in about a minute a picture. Without it, a Gemini key or the free community cloud fills in. Add it from Manage models or from the setup wizard on a new install.
  • Model downloads tell the truth. Picking a preset used to sit at 100% doing nothing while the real downloads ran unseen. The bar now counts what you actually started, names what is moving, and the pane keeps you posted until it finishes. The preset matching your disk is marked.

@bigmillz bigmillz released this 15 Sep 04:46

ConcordeAI 6.0.3

  • A cloud key that runs out of budget never becomes the answer — its notice is treated as a failure, that provider rests for an hour, and the next option answers instead, down to the models on this Mac. You always get a reply.
  • Three update channels — Stable, Beta and Nightly, chosen in Settings › About. Nightlies are rebuilt on every change and named by their commit; betas are numbered per version, the macOS way.
  • The post-update card names exactly what you were on and lists what changed in this build.
  • The disk image shows the true build label and sets the wordmark in the app's own face.
  • Version line lives at the top of Settings only.

macOS — download the .dmg. Existing installs update themselves.

Windows — the .msi installer (attached by CI a few minutes after
release) needs nothing else: no Python, no admin. On an NVIDIA machine CUDA
is used automatically. The .zip is the same app for people who prefer a

6.0.2

@bigmillz bigmillz released this 14 Sep 15:18

ConcordeAI 6.0.2

  • Clean up now — in Manage models, next to the auto-clean switch: a button that shows exactly which superseded models will be removed and how much space comes back, then removes them on your confirmation
  • The Manage models panel now scrolls, so nothing sits below the edge of the settings card
  • After an update, a clean "Updated to…" dialog with the release notes replaces the full-screen version splash
  • Answers frame "today" and "tonight" on your home area's clock wherever your Mac happens to be; short venue lists never become "nothing is open"

macOS — download the .dmg. Existing installs update themselves.

Windows — the .msi installer (attached by CI a few minutes after
release) needs nothing else: no Python, no admin. On an NVIDIA machine CUDA
is used automatically. The .zip is the same app for people who prefer a

6.0.1

Choose a tag to compare

@bigmillz bigmillz released this 14 Sep 14:28

ConcordeAI 6.0.1 — a fast follow-up to 6.0.

Fixed

  • Funnel recommendations could fail to appear at all after the final question — the verdict step now always answers (this only affected builds after 6.0's release, but the safeguard ships for everyone)
  • The titlebar logo is back, centered on the window and staying centered as you resize

Sharper

  • Places run on their own clock even when your Mac is set to another timezone, with your home area as the default for any local question
  • "This weekend" means the coming Saturday and Sunday, with both days forecast
  • Venue answers carry closure evidence when it can be found, and hours that come only from a venue's own website are labeled "listed, unverified"
  • What's-playing questions search Rotten Tomatoes, Fandango and Box Office Mojo first; current prices must carry a date and source
  • Funnel verdicts are audited for what your picks actually mean, with exact product names or none
  • Chat answers keep their numbers consistent and never invent "most people" statistics

macOS — download the .dmg.

6.0

6.0

Choose a tag to compare

@bigmillz bigmillz released this 14 Sep 02:36

ConcordeAI 6.0 — the release. Everything since the betas, judged fifteen automated quality cycles deep.

Answers you can act on

  • Places run on their own clock: "open now near williamsburg" is computed on Brooklyn's time even when your Mac is set to another timezone
  • Local questions stay local (Brooklyn, not Virginia), open-now verdicts name real venues with cited hours or a real reopen time, and "this weekend" means the coming one
  • Weather has two live sources, refuses stale or impossible readings, and never invents a forecast
  • Funnels recommend real, specific things, honor what you clicked, and a second model audits every verdict before you see it
  • Chat answers keep a friend's shape — prose and short lists, no walls of tables — and use what the app remembers about you plainly or not at all

A cleaner app

  • Six redundant models retired; an auto-clean switch (and a Clean up now button) reclaims space from superseded versions
  • Search your past chats from the sidebar — titles instantly, full text after three characters
  • The hero greets you by name and hometown once you set them in Settings
  • Centered titlebar lockup, one wordmark weight everywhere, the version quietly under the system monitor, remove links only in manage mode
  • Fixed: pages could stay cached after an update

macOS — download the .dmg. Existing installs update themselves.

Windows — the .msi installer (attached by CI a few minutes after
release) needs nothing else: no Python, no admin. On an NVIDIA machine CUDA
is used automatically. The .zip is the same app for people who prefer a
