✨ New Features

  • Offline version: a new build with no internet access at all. It has no update checks and no Google account connection for Tasks import; importing from a Google Takeout or Tasks.org file still works. It installs alongside the other versions and is available from GitHub Releases.
  • Track updates via ObtainX: add Remember to ObtainX, which then checks for new versions and installs them for you. On the F-Droid version, ObtainX follows its F-Droid listing; on the GitHub and Offline versions, it follows GitHub Releases. If ObtainX isn't installed, it opens the ObtainX website.

🛠 Improved Features

  • Reminder/Snooze type (formerly "Snooze type") now also sets the quick options when you add a reminder. Choose Timing for named times (Soon, Later today, This evening…) or Duration for lengths of time (30 mins, 1 hour, 6 hours, 12 hours, 24 hours, 7 days). An info button in Settings explains both.
  • "Keep reminder notifications until done" is now called Restore notifications, with a clearer description of what it does.
  • Checkboxes are a little bigger than their text again, and the same size in lists and notes.

🐛 Bug Fixes

  • Updating from inside the GitHub version no longer downloads the F-Droid version by mistake.
  • On the Play Store version, daily and weekly scheduled update checks now actually run.
  • If an update check fails (for example, when you're offline), the update screen now says "Could not check for updates" instead of wrongly saying "You're up to date".
  • Typing in notes with live preview no longer interrupts your keyboard's autocorrect and word suggestions.
  • The two-panel layout no longer appears on phones in portrait mode.
  • Fixed cases where Display size settings made the whole app look too small on some devices.
  • Links opened from About (GitHub, Play Store, other apps) open in their own task, so the browser or store no longer shows up as Remember in the recent-apps list.
  • Tags no longer split by letter case; each tag keeps one spelling.
  • Restoring a backup to a phone with no screen lock no longer locks you out.
