RCIP 2.0.3 — React starter and discovery
RCIP 2.0.3 makes the existing React capability runtime easier to find, try, and integrate. Runtime behavior, public APIs, and protocol 1.0 are unchanged.
- Standalone React/TypeScript starter with discovery, current-state reads, input validation, confirmed writes, decline, and cancellation. Copy the directory or download the source-only ZIP below.
- Expanded agentic UI, frontend tools, in-app agent, and browser-use metadata and guidance. External browser agents still need an application-selected bridge; MCP/WebMCP adapters and generic discovery remain future work.
- An
llms.txtdocumentation map and a 71-second captioned walkthrough of the deterministic demo.
Starter guide · Interactive demo · Consumer guide
The starter pins the already verified npm release 2.0.2 so it is reproducible independently of this release's publication. RCIP 2.0.3 has the same runtime/API behavior. The starter is not a separate npm package.
Validation: package/type/build checks, React 18/19 packed consumers, 25 composed browser scenarios, three site checks, and an isolated install/build/browser check of the standalone starter. GitHub CI also checks Node 20, 22, and 24. The release workflow verifies the exact published npm version after upload.
The video shows a local production build of the reference demo at original interaction speed, with explanatory captions. It uses a deterministic adapter and no AI service, external browser-agent integration, or model benchmark. Captions are burned into the MP4 and available separately as WebVTT. The ZIP contains only the starter's source, lockfile, and license; install dependencies with npm ci.
Existing public monitoring keeps its original expiry: 2026-09-24T21:00:04Z.
RCIP 2.0.2 — React agent discovery and public health checks
RCIP 2.0.2 improves discovery and verifies the package users actually install. Runtime behavior, public APIs, and protocol 1.0 are unchanged.
- Expand React UI-agent, assistant, tool-calling, and function-calling keywords and examples across npm, GitHub, and the documentation.
- Explain RCIP's relationship to MCP and WebMCP explicitly: direct protocol adapters are planned and are not included.
- Add local
health:availabilityandhealth:regressioncommands, reused by GitHub Actions. - Verify exact published versions across React 18.2, 18.3, and 19.1, including imports, TypeScript, builds, and browser discovery/read/write/confirmation behavior.
- Check registry metadata, documentation, demo, sitemap, and page assets; add a seven-day availability schedule with daily regression and automatic expiry.
- Keep monitoring on standard public runners without persistent Actions caches or artifact uploads. Results are recorded in logs and job summaries.

RCIP 2.0.1 — runtime hardening and discoverability
RCIP 2.0.1 strengthens invocation and confirmation behavior while keeping protocol 1.0 and existing public APIs. RCIP now expands to React Capability Interface Protocol; the package remains @binaried/rcip.
- Prevent duplicate execution during asynchronous policy checks and pending confirmation.
- Reject stale bindings, unavailable actions, and changed semantic context before execution.
- Capture requests independently of caller mutation, protect discovery metadata, and clean up expired or cancelled confirmations.
- Release cancelled policy waits without executing late results; publish React bindings only after committed renders.
- Add searchable documentation, complete TypeScript contracts, lifecycle/security guidance, bundle measurements, a Finance case study, and a static interactive demo.
- Validate Node 20/22/24, packed React 18.2/18.3/19.1 consumers, SSR/hydration, and browser behavior. Repair secret-history scanning and update affected build dependencies.

Cancellation remains cooperative and cannot undo completed effects. Backend authorization and write idempotency remain application responsibilities. This release adds no WebMCP adapter.
