Added

  • TUI layout PR2 (layout presets) — the dashboard now ships two arrangements of
the same four sections, switchable live:
    • grid (new default): two columns — the CPU section spans the full left
column, GPU·ANE / Memory / Power stack in the right column. Fits short
terminals without scrolling (~28 rows incl. chrome).
    • stack: the previous single full-width scrolling column — longest chart
      history span.
  • --layout {grid, stack} CLI flag (default grid) and a matching
    DashboardConfig.layout field.
  • l key cycles the layout preset (grid ⇄ stack) live, with zero data loss
(history deques are untouched by a switch); documented in the help overlay
    and footer.
  • Auto-degrade: a requested grid narrower than ~96 columns renders as stack
automatically and recovers when the terminal widens, so the two columns never
    squeeze below readability. HardwareDashboard.effective_layout_preset exposes
the applied preset vs. the requested layout_preset.

Changed

  • The process table is now a fixed 74-column panel (was 1fr); the dashboard
absorbs the remaining width. Dashboard/section CSS moved into
HardwareDashboard.DEFAULT_CSS (scoped to the widget) — the presets are a CSS
class swap there, not app-level layout.
  • Width-adaptive rows (inline power sparks, core grids) now re-render on a
terminal resize or preset swap instead of waiting for the next sample.
