mac68k-disk 1.2
New in 1.2:
-
Folders on MFS disks, the way the Finder keeps them: MFS has no folders of its own, the Finder stores them in its invisible DeskTop file.
mkdir, add --name "Folder:",get,rmandls/ls -Rnow work with folder paths on 400K MFS disks as on HFS, nested folders included. Names stay unique on the whole MFS disk, so a plain name still finds a file in any folder. -
Startup disks with
new --system <startup disk>: a new disk with the boot blocks of the given disk and its system files in a System Folder (blessed on HFS) - and nothing else:mac68k-disk new Programs.dsk --system System.dsk mac68k-disk add Programs.dsk Hello.bin
Checked on an emulated Macintosh 512K with the Finder 5.3: the folders show and open, and after launching programs, shutting down and starting again the Finder does not ask to repair the disk. 300 tests, 176 interoperability tests with hfsutils.
Install: sudo apt install ./mac68k-disk_1.2_arm64.deb (or _amd64.deb), or brew install bircher988/tap/mac68k-disk.
