v1.1 - Bug Fixes and Performance Improvements

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed critical regex pattern bugs - Removed invalid regex anchors from input defaults that caused incorrect file matching
  • Fixed CloudFormation matching - Now matches exact filename instead of partial matches anywhere in path
  • Added first commit handling - Properly detects and handles initial commits or invalid SHA scenarios

Performance Improvements

  • Optimized git diff execution - Reduced from 3 separate git diff calls to a single call (3x faster)
  • Improved error handling - Added set -euo pipefail for fail-fast behavior and proper error propagation

Enhancements

  • Better debug output - Now displays which specific files triggered each change category
  • Simplified logic - Combined duplicate conditional blocks for cleaner, more maintainable code
  • Git command error handling - Gracefully handles git failures with safe fallback behavior
