latest davx5 + nextcloud: cannot log back (2FA) into account on new phone

As explained in the title, i'am running the latest davx with the latest nextcloud-dev on my android 13 new smartphone, trying to transfer the management of my contacts and calendar to my new phone (i use 2FA OTP to log in) ; i followed the steps here https://www.davx5.com/tested-with/nextcloud but i keep getting an exception in initialiser error, can anyone phase give me a clue where I'm going wrong / what i missed ? (Logs available in PM)

Did you setup the Nextcloud app first and then chose "Sync calendar & contacts" like shown in the video?

Please provide all error messages and problem descriptions, otherwise we can't know what's up.

Sorry for the late answer; I was on holidays...

I'm still faced with the same issue; I just cannot sync my nextcloud contacts and calendar on my new phone.
I tried both ways, as described here, with and without Nextcloud (dev) insdtalled on my phone.

To answer your question, with Nextcloud set up the phone first (and properly working as on my previous phone - please note 2FA is implemented); indeed

1. I chose "Sync calendar & contacts" and this brings up a DAVx5 "add account" screen prompting to grant DavX5 access (as in the video),

2. but instantly a Nextcloud screen takes over up prompting me to login before I grant Davx5 access (I say it is a Nextcloud screen as it says so at the top as opposed to the video where I believe it is a DAVx5 screen as it says "Add account"),

3. I log in (please note I am NOT requested to input neither my login, password nor 2FA / FOTP code - I do not know whether this is relevant)

4. I get another Nextcloud screen (as explained above: oit says so at the top vs. video) prompting me to grant access to Davx5

5. I grant access to DAVx5 by clicking on the button

6. the Nextcloud screen then tells me i can close the screen,

7. I close the screen by clicking on the X

8. it very briefly goes goes back to the DAVx5 "add account" screen to be instantly replaced with a Nextcloud screen telling me to log in before granting DAVx5 access and we are at back to 3) above...

9. I put an end to this cycle and launch DAVx5 to add my account the usual way (by providing url / login / password) but end up with an ExceptionInInitializerError: "an unexpcted error has occured. View debug info for details" (I can PM the logs)

I have never seen this before. No idea why, seems to be related that your device doesn't have a host name or something like that…
