Infrastructure Setup - For Azure

Hello,

Love the project and what you guys have done so far!

Was looking to see if you had a startup/configuration guide for deployment to Azure App Service or Static Web App.

Currently working with your Admin Template.

I looked through the CI/CD Azure Yaml file to get a starting point, however that only shows that there is a web app, not how it was configured.

Please let us know if you need pre-rendering or not. Would you like a mobile app as well?
Offline web app? You can also provide as much information as you want so we can provide the best recommendations.

I currently have two projects, one is configuration app, the other is a client app.

Admin app (Configuration - only 1 exists):

• It is used to configure our main Client product. We setup our different Clients data and their dedicated projects. Then once their data is configured a Web Job synchronizes the data across from the Admin App to the dedicated white labelled Client app (Database).

• This App is currently setup as Isolated .Net 9.

• I suspect it will have to be an Azure Web App due to the Azure Web Jobs.

• In the long term I would love to have an iOS/Android app but it would be used for internal use only and not a priority right now.

Client App (could be many due to data isolation and white labelling):

• It is used by our white labelled users, to view and manage their products and PBI Dashboards.

• This app will need to be hosted as a website, with the clients branded colours.

• Currently was planning to add a web job, but can move that to the Admin App if there is a cost savings.

• I would want an iOS/Android app in the future but not a priority at this moment.

Notes:

• I do not foresee an offline app due to the nature of the PBI Reports needing to connect to azure to export.
• I do not foresee a Windows app, we can use the browser.
• Due to the white label for the Client App, I need to make sure that the clients see only their branding and products.

I am open to ideas. I went with this template due to the potential cost savings in the long term.

I’m not entirely sure what you’re aiming to create, but generally, we configure the bit Boilerplate in one of these four ways:

• Web-only projects with pre-rendering:
  We set up the project using --api Integrated, deploy Server.Web to an Azure Web App, and place it behind a Cloudflare CDN.

• Web-only projects without pre-rendering:
  The --api can be either Integrated or Standalone. We deploy Server.Api to an Azure Web App (optionally behind a Cloudflare CDN) and Client.Web to Azure Static Web Apps.

• Projects with Android, iOS (or possibly Windows, macOS) and a pre-rendered Web version:
  We configure the project with --api Standalone, deploy Server.Api to one Azure Web App and Server.Web to a separate Azure Web App. Both (or at least Server.Web) are placed behind a Cloudflare CDN, and the apps are submitted to the stores.

• Projects with Android, iOS (or possibly Windows, macOS) and a Web version without pre-rendering:
  We use --api Standalone, deploy Server.Api to an Azure Web App (optionally behind a Cloudflare CDN), publish Client.Web to Azure Static Pages, and release the apps to the stores.
