StyleSeed 5.0.0 registers one styleseed skill with 22 internal workflows. This is a major release because the previous individual ss-* commands are no longer registered.
Upgrade from 4.x
Use $styleseed build / /styleseed build instead of $ss-build / /ss-build. Ask StyleSeed to update and consolidate the existing installation, keeping the same agent, project/global scope, channel, and any explicit pin. The new updater backs up only verified, unmodified old entries; customized or unknown entries remain for review. Restart the agent session after migration.

npx skills add https://github.com/bitjaru/styleseed/releases/download/v5.0.0/styleseed-core-5.0.0.tar.gz --agent codex --yes --copyUse --agent claude-code for Claude Code. The archive contains one discoverable core skill per provider, all 22 workflows, and no optional learning extension or MCP. npx skills add bitjaru/styleseed follows mutable main; it is a separate development-channel install.
Included since 4.2.0
- One skill entry point, revision-aware update preflight, and backup-first consolidation.
- Scoped spacing/rhythm controls and rendered measurements, including nested artifact isolation and invalid/hidden/transformed measurement checks.
- Executed tests for declared functional outcomes and reviewed legacy-project migration.
- Bounded build/repair instructions, read-only review boundaries, updated install guidance, and reproducible handoff/spacing examples.
- Release skill/workflow counts derived from the package inventory and validated against both discovery mirrors.
Integrity and evidence
The attached release-manifest.json binds the exact Git commit, engine and skill revisions, archive digest, workflow run, and evidence boundaries. inventory.json, SHA256SUMS, core SPDX SBOM, demo CycloneDX SBOM, and GitHub attestations accompany the archive. Preparation fields in the manifest describe the state when candidate assets were generated; they are not rewritten after publication.
The release workflow verifies source/runtime contracts, production build and dependency audit, browser smoke, a disposable external application, and browser evaluator calibration. These are implementation and regression evidence, not independent human design acceptance.
No new benchmark was run. BENCH-V1 remains historical evidence. This release makes no new performance, gate-effect, superiority, or expert-level design-quality claim. Public plugin-directory publication is not claimed. The optional learning extension remains outside this core release.
