v1.0.0
Bitrise Desktop App 1.0.0
Meet the Bitrise Desktop App: a native macOS menu bar app that keeps your Bitrise CI build status one glance away, no more juggling browser tabs or waiting on a Slack ping. This is our first public release.
Highlights
- Live status in the menu bar. The icon reflects the most recently started build across the projects you watch: passed, failed, running, or aborted.
- A build list built around your work. Pick a workspace, subscribe to the projects you care about, and see their builds together in one place, each filtered to the branches you choose.
- Jump straight to the details. One click takes you from a build to its page on Bitrise, or to the related pull request or commit.
- Notifications that fit each project. Choose per project whether to hear about every completion, failures only, or nothing at all, behind a single global on/off switch.
- Follows your local checkout. Point the app at a repo on disk and it tracks the branch you have checked out, matching your working copy to its Bitrise project.
- Stays out of your way. It lives in the menu bar with no Dock icon, and can launch automatically at login.
The app is read-only: it shows build status but does not trigger or rebuild.
