BIAS 2.1.0 - Release Notes

New Features

  • Threshold Parameterization – Parameterizing the PP3 and BP4 classifiers so that users can select the algorithm(s) used. This allow users to explicitly specify which tools are used in PP3/BP4 evaluation.

In addition, BIAS-2015 now supports: disabling post processing upweighting rules based on tool agreement and restricting PP3/BP4 classification to a single predictor for guideline compliance. These features enable users to align with either strict ACMG/SVI guidance or legacy research practices.

These parameters are now accessible in the src/bias_2015/constants.py file.
