New: Codex sessions in the island. The agent strip already showed Claude
Code; it now shows Codex the same way — live sessions, a nudge when a turn
finishes, and permission requests you can answer from the notch instead of
switching back to the terminal. Settings → Agents installs each one separately
and names the file it is about to edit before touching it.
Two things are specific to Codex and worth knowing:
- Codex runs a hook only after you have reviewed it. After installing, run
/hooksin Codex and trust the Dyno Chess entry — until then it is installed
and does nothing, and the Agents pane says so. - Approve and Reject work; there is no Always button on a Codex request.
Codex refuses a permission answer that carries a rule edit, so offering the
button would turn an approval into a blocked tool call.
