• Reliable update check: the checker no longer degrades into a tag-only alert on every API hiccup — only a genuine rate-limit (403/429) uses the tag file, and failures never count as a successful check, so the next auto-check retries instead of going quiet for 3 hours
• Rate-limit with versions: when GitHub limits checks from your network, the app still tells you installed-vs-latest versions with a "retry later" notice instead of a dead-end error

✨ New

• Challenge level-up nudges: mistake-free sessions suggest +1 operand level with a badge highlight, even average ones
• Two-line challenge prompt (title + expression) so equations never wrap mid-expression at narrow widths, plus a live hands-total badge between the hand steppers
