Experimental Windows x64 preview of Subsync 0.18.0 with GPU-accelerated matching.

Highlights:

  • CUDA and OpenCL word-matching backends, with automatic CPU fallback.
  • Full portable GUI and CLI application; extract the ZIP and run subsync.exe.
  • Python 3.13, wxPython 4.2.5, FFmpeg 6.1.1 with iconv, and PocketSphinx 5.1.1.
  • Offline English speech model included.
  • Fixed wxPython integer compatibility for sliders, gauges, timers, and Settings.
  • Fixed SRT subtitle decoding by enabling FFmpeg iconv support.

Validation:

  • End-to-end CUDA synchronization of two SRT files completed successfully and applied the expected +5.000 second offset.
  • CPU, CUDA, and OpenCL matcher checksums matched.

GPU notes:

  • CUDA requires a compatible NVIDIA driver.
  • OpenCL requires a vendor OpenCL runtime supplied by the GPU/CPU driver.
  • CPU matching remains available when no compatible GPU runtime is present.
