Install the showcase: extract the showcase zip, upload its PPSA99010 folder to
/data/homebrew/ on a PS5 running a homebrew loader with ShadowMountPlus, and start
PS5 FSR4 Showcase from the home screen once it is registered. It opens with a guided
tour; controls and performance.
Use the SDK: see FSR4_SDK.md in the SDK zip.
AMD / GPUOpen created FSR4. The INT8 optimizations come from the BC250 FSR4 project
(dmoraza and daniel-h-0 with contributors). This build is modified, unofficial and not
affiliated with or endorsed by AMD or Sony Interactive Entertainment. Each zip's
notices/ holds AMD's license and the provenance of the FSR4 material.
Build inputs (not an app release)
Inputs for the automated builds; not an app release.
pipeline-cache-ps5-<sha256 prefix>.bin: the Vulkan pipeline cache a PS5 saved for the FSR4 pass tables and the driver thattools/build_inputs.jsonnames (with its SHA-256, the pass tables' digest and the cache identity). The builds ship it so that the FSR4 pipelines load in about 0.1 s instead of compiling for about 85 s. It holds AMD FSR 4.1.1 shaders with the BC250 project's INT8 optimizations, modified and compiled for the PS5 GPU; that material is under the MIT terms ofAMD-SDK-LICENSE.md.
A new cache is added here, under a new name, whenever the driver's compiler identity or the pass tables change (see docs/RELEASING.md).
