Release v1.1.5

What's New

  • New StatusBarClock component with animated blinking colon
  • Simplified clock management across all V2 modes
  • Escape key now triggers reset dialog when no time segment is selected

Download

Download the appropriate installer for your platform from the assets below.

macOS Downloads

  • Apple Silicon (M1/M2/M3/M4): OBS Timer-1.1.5-arm64.dmg
  • Intel Mac: OBS Timer-1.1.5.dmg

Installation

macOS (Important!)

This app is not signed with an Apple Developer certificate, so macOS will block it by default. Use one of these methods to install:

Method 1: Right-click to Open (try this first)

  1. Download the appropriate .dmg file for your Mac
  2. Open the .dmg and drag OBS Timer to Applications
  3. Right-click (or Control-click) on OBS Timer in Applications
  4. Select "Open" from the context menu
  5. Click "Open" in the dialog that appears

Method 2: Remove Quarantine Attribute (if Method 1 fails)

# Run this in Terminal after downloading:
xattr -cr ~/Downloads/OBS\ Timer-1.1.5*.dmg

# Or if already installed to Applications:
xattr -cr /Applications/OBS\ Timer.app

Then open the app normally.

Why is this necessary?
macOS Gatekeeper quarantines apps downloaded from the internet that aren't signed with an Apple Developer ID certificate ($99/year). The app is safe—it's just not signed.

Windows

  • Download and run the .exe installer

Linux

  • Download and run the .AppImage file
