  • Friday has transitioned from a command-line application to a graphical interface to improve user experience.
  • The GUI offers a more user-friendly way to manage your tasks, including adding, marking, deleting, and viewing tasks through an intuitive interface.

  • View tasks in a clean, organised layout.
  • Add tasks with a simple form input.
  • Mark tasks as completed with just a click.
  • Delete tasks with an intuitive button press.

2. Task Update Functionality (Update)

  • You can now edit task details without deleting and recreating them. This functionality includes updating task descriptions, deadlines, or event times.
  • Easily modify existing tasks to keep your task list up to date.

How to Use:

For CLI Users:

  • The update command allows you to update tasks directly via the command line.

Command Format:

update <task number> <new details>

Example:

update 3 Finish project report /by 2024-09-30 2359

Usage

To run the application, follow these steps:

  1. Download the JAR File
  2. Open a Command Window in the folder containing the JAR file.
  3. Execute the JAR File using the command:
    java -jar friday.jar
