Deepr 2.50.10 makes the verified Windows release installer reliable on a clean Python installation. It supersedes v2.50.9 as the recommended release and includes all of its bounded OpenRouter preview, account-inspection, documentation, harness, packaging, and security work.

Fixed

  • The Windows installer now treats a missing pipx module as an expected bootstrap condition even when Windows PowerShell promotes native stderr to a terminating error under ErrorActionPreference=Stop.
  • The installer can bootstrap pipx, resolve the latest GitHub Release wheel, install Deepr in an isolated Python 3.14 environment, and verify the CLI.
  • A regression contract and a checked-off dated ROADMAP validation entry preserve the failure and its repair.

Validation

  • The repaired installer was exercised on this workstation with default Python 3.14 and no pipx module. It bootstrapped pipx, installed the verified v2.50.9 GitHub Release wheel, and ran Deepr successfully.
  • Pull request #160 passed its complete required check set before merge.
  • Main CI passed on exact release commit d29abb5c8ee7f1835e65b85ce1939a6fa8de7633, including Python 3.12, 3.13, and 3.14 with the 80% branch coverage gate.
  • CodeQL passed for Actions, JavaScript/TypeScript, and Python on the same commit.
  • 11,851 tests passed and 9 were skipped in the clean local no-key, no-.env unit run for the included v2.50.9 feature tree. The v2.50.10 focused installer, packaging, standards, and Agent Plugin regression scope added 29 passing checks.
  • Ruff lint and format checks, strict mypy, security and complexity ratchets, documentation consistency, dependency audits, frontend checks, packaged-frontend inspection, and Twine metadata validation passed.
  • Two independent Agent Plugin builds were byte-for-byte identical.
  • No paid provider calls were made. Actual provider spend was $0.

Included OpenRouter boundary

  • Seven current cross-family model slugs support write-free, maximum-charge previews.
  • Public route metadata and sanitized current-key checks are read-only and non-authorizing.
  • Two requested comparison envelopes were previewed: Qwen at $0.1570 and Anthropic at $2.7840.
  • Inference remains blocked until account controls, BYOK and plugin proof, exact response identity, durable parent settlement, ambiguous-outcome handling, and final billing reconciliation are complete.

Python support

  • Python 3.12, 3.13, and 3.14 remain the blocking supported matrix.
  • Python 3.15 is not final. The current Windows RC probe is blocked by the full dependency stack's missing lxml wheel, so no unsupported claim is made.
