Fixed
Budgeted dry runs report launch readiness honestly. A dry run whose
estimate exceeds --budget now sets execution_ready: false instead of
reporting a launch-ready provider recipe. Invalid ceilings also return a
structured error before any model call.
Changed
Budget previews expose the complete decision. Human output shows the
supplied ceiling and estimate. JSON distinguishes provider readiness from
final execution readiness and includes the ceiling, estimated cost, and within_budget result. The same validation and comparison functions now
serve the preview and execution preflight.
Documentation
The active queue is executable and versioned. The roadmap now owns
dependency order and long-range gates, while NEXT_STEPS.md contains one
bounded implementation card, exit criteria, and the release-version update
protocol. Future work uses readiness gates instead of delivery dates or
effort estimates.
OpenRouter's $10 ceiling path is explicit. The README and operator guides
show the separate routing opt-in, per-run ceiling behavior, approval gate,
runtime checkpoint limits, and independent provider-side spending control.
