BlitzClean 1.1.0
BlitzClean 1.1.0 makes recovery and storage navigation faster, with direct actions and persistent monitoring history.
Changes
- Revive and Force Quit are visible on every eligible app row, without dropdowns.
- Recovery follows app launches/exits and refreshes every two seconds while open; fresh health replaces stale results.
- Storage defaults to a working directory browser with drive buttons, breadcrumbs, recursive sizes, and reviewed Trash.
- Largest-file scans cover connected local drives with progressive results, cancellation, and unreadable-path reporting.
- CPU/RAM charts survive relaunch, with bounded seven-day history.
- Pressure guidance identifies the limiting resource; project auto-pause is optional and Resume remains explicit.
- Projects include background workers, and individual Quit/Stop actions run without extra confirmation.
- Updated controls, app icons, branding, README, privacy documentation, and release instructions.
- Command deadlines use dedicated queues; cancellation checks also pass with a constrained worker pool.
Download
- macOS 14 or later; universal binary for Apple silicon and Intel.

.sha256file verifies the archive contents. - Developer ID signed with hardened runtime and a secure timestamp.
- Apple notarization Accepted; the ticket is stapled and Gatekeeper reports Notarized Developer ID.
Validation
- 219 tests passed locally and on GitHub, plus formatting, property-list, shell-syntax, and release-signature checks.
- Both executable architectures declare macOS 14 as their minimum version.
- GitHub build validates the release source.
- Installed-app checks verified repeated/bulk recovery, frozen-window detection, app launch/exit refresh, and inline Force Quit.
- Recovery tests used disposable apps; no real user apps were stopped.
Revive resumes stopped processes and checks window responsiveness; it cannot repair every deadlock or system-wide stall.
Pausing a project stops CPU work but does not release its allocated memory.
