Flush betanet slot 99 v3 (pre-release, temporary)

Choose a tag to compare

@bitlewis bitlewis released this 23 Oct 22:57

Flush betanet slot 99, v3 — a PRE-RELEASE of Flush for a temporary test network: eCash betanet, sidechain slot 99 (the unused Photon slot). Flush moves to its own slot, 46, later, and this chain will then be dropped. Don't keep value there. Version 32.0.2, built from release-slot99-v3 at 3476fe343a, the version the slot-99 nodes run. It has the slot-99 upgrade v3 (active since Flush block 4400; v1 is off the chain since then). v3 adds no new upgrade: v2 nodes stay on the chain, but only v3 apps accept the new flush.markets actions.

Running it

flushd    -chain=ecashbeta -sidechainslot=99 -mainchaingrpc=127.0.0.1:50051
flush-app -chain=ecashbeta -sidechainslot=99 -mainchaingrpc=127.0.0.1:50051

You can also put chain=ecashbeta and sidechainslot=99 at the top of flush.conf, with the other options under [ecashbeta]. Data goes to ~/.flush/betanet-photon (on Windows, %LOCALAPPDATA%\Flush\betanet-photon). P2P port 38995, RPC port 38994. Addresses start with bflx.

Mainchain link (gRPC), either of:

  • any eCash betanet node with bip300301_enforcer (--network-preset=betanet, then point -mainchaingrpc at its --serve-grpc-addr);
  • Backbone v0.1.0-betanet, started with backboned -chain=ecashbeta -grpc.

Neither one serves TLS. To reach one on another machine, use an SSH tunnel: ssh -N -L 50051:127.0.0.1:50051 host.

Deposits and withdrawals

  • Deposit: copy the s99_bflx1…_xxxxxx address from the app's Receive page (or run flush-cli getdepositaddress). Then make a BIP300 deposit into slot 99 with it, using BitWindow, the enforcer (WalletService.CreateDepositTransaction), or Backbone's "Move coins" (backbone-cli -chain=ecashbeta createsidechaindeposit 99 "<s99_…>" <amount>).
    • A plain send to the escrow is not a deposit.
    • Try a small amount first.
  • Withdrawal: use the app's Withdraw page, or flush-cli createwithdrawal <betanet address> <amount> <fee>. Withdrawals are batched into a bundle, and betanet miners must vote for it, so expect a long wait. You can take a withdrawal back until its bundle is proposed.

What's in it

  • The DEX: pools, routes, order books, Dutch auctions.
  • Launches: your own supply, decimals and curve fee. You can also put an existing asset on a curve.
  • The asset registry, and the create wizard (register or launch, then open a market).
  • flush: links from flush.markets. The app checks each one against its own node and asks you in its own dialog. On Windows, the installer registers the flush: scheme.
  • Order-book charts: depth and price.
  • Anchor bid modes for validators: -validatoranchorbid (0 allowed; -novalidatoranchorbid turns it off), -validatoranchorbidmode=standard|fees, -validatoranchorbidmax.
  • New in v3: the full DEX from flush.markets, confirmed in this app (the site never holds keys): trade with routing across every pool kind, liquidity and concentrated positions, order books for any pair, auctions, launch claims, a portfolio after Connect, and ECX deposits/withdrawals. 11 new flush: link types; liquidity minimums are enforced at signing.
  • In v2: launch allocations up to 10% of the supply for the creator (upgrade v3 at block 4400; 5% before), minted at graduation and claimed from My assets → My launches; launch pages show the allocation and the dilution.
  • Fixes since v1: adding liquidity to concentrated pools, swap venue selection, searchpools.
  • The liveness fix for validators (in the v2 upgrade at block 3300).

Known limits

  • Unsigned binaries: there was no signing key on the build machine, so Windows SmartScreen may warn. Check SHA256SUMS before running anything.
  • The Windows installer has not been run. The programs inside it were tested from the zip (flushd.exe -version and a regtest start).
  • Temporary network: this chain is dropped when Flush moves to slot 46.

Flush betanet slot 99 v2 (pre-release, temporary)

@bitlewis bitlewis released this 23 Oct 18:50

Replaced by v3 (same chain, adds the full flush.markets DEX links). v2 stays on the chain, but only v3 accepts the new site actions.

Flush betanet slot 99, v2 — a PRE-RELEASE of Flush for a temporary test network: eCash betanet, sidechain slot 99 (the unused Photon slot). Flush moves to its own slot, 46, later, and this chain will then be dropped. Don't keep value there. Version 32.0.1, built from release-slot99-v2 at ad586cb2a6 (photon-v3), the version the slot-99 nodes run. It has the slot-99 upgrade v3, which activates at Flush block 4400; a node on an older version forks off there, so v1 users must upgrade.

Running it

flushd    -chain=ecashbeta -sidechainslot=99 -mainchaingrpc=127.0.0.1:50051
