Boris 1.1.0-beta.1

First beta of the 1.1 line. Pre-release — Stable installs stay on 1.0.0 unless you switch the update channel.

Added

  • Session visual artifacts (cards on the overlay + Home desk)
  • Public web_search without an Exa key (DuckDuckGo + Wikipedia; Exa still used if configured)
  • Settings → General → Channel: Stable or Beta

Changed

  • grep stays in-process for keyword searches; ripgrep only for real regex
  • bash uses bash -c and prefers Git Bash (skips WSL)

Install

  1. Download Boris_1.1.0-beta.1_x64-setup.exe
  2. Install over 1.0.0 if you already have it
  3. To keep getting betas: Settings → General → Channel → Beta

Notes

  • NSIS installer only (MSI cannot encode beta in the version)
  • This GitHub release is a pre-release and is not Latest
  • Changelog: CHANGELOG.md
