Boris 1.1.0-beta.4

Fourth beta of the 1.1 line. Pre-release — Stable installs stay on 1.0.0 unless you switch the update channel.

Fixed

  • Packaged Windows builds no longer flash an empty console window on Settings save or on launch. Saving auth.json ran icacls without CREATE_NO_WINDOW.
  • Overlay window chrome is no longer resized on unrelated settings saves. The island HWND is created only when it must appear.

Install

  1. Download Boris_1.1.0-beta.4_x64-setup.exe
  2. Install over 1.1.0-beta.3 (or 1.0.0) if you already have it
  3. To keep getting betas: Settings → General → Channel → Beta

Notes

  • NSIS installer only (MSI cannot encode beta in the version)
  • This GitHub release is a pre-release and is not Latest
  • Changelog: CHANGELOG.md
