Hear your turn

Four short spoken cues guide a whole practice: watch, get ready, your turn, and nine rounds complete. Amazon Polly creates the prompts during lesson-pack preparation; Vega's native AudioPlayer plays the bundled MP3s locally. The installed routine runs offline.

Pause, Back and app backgrounding stop the picture and voice together. Resuming a timed phase repeats its prompt. Your section, speed and daily completed rounds stay on the TV.

Install

  • EightAgain-armv7.vpkg — compatible Fire TV hardware with Vega OS 1.2+.
  • EightAgain-x86_64.vpkg — official Vega Virtual Device on an x86_64 host.
  • EightAgain-aarch64.vpkg — official Vega Virtual Device on Apple Silicon.

Installation uses the Vega SDK. Follow the build and run instructions, then use the TV remote to complete a round. TV volume controls the prompts.

The attached native recording, voice check and cross-process progress check accompany this development preview. See the AWS integration guide for the original cue text, synthesis settings and generation script.

Watch a complete practice round and arrange a free teacher trial.
