Construct alpha21 — ARM64 pilot

Public distribution of the exact existing alpha21 pilot APK. No rebuild, re-signing, or app behavior change was made for this hosting migration.

  • Frozen app source: 4f19bf7c9fb3ea66e135beab421100ceeedf0576 (this tag).
  • ARM64 Android phones; Android 9 / API 28 or newer. Some capabilities need newer Android versions.
  • APK: 23,594,175 bytes. SHA-256 checksums attached in SHA256SUMS.
  • Existing pilot signer preserved (certificate SHA-256 c066034d20f4f9f625b5b2bda525a5b94f32961583f837d0e3437746013443cb). This remains a development-signed experimental pilot, not a production store release.

What is in alpha21

Library-first navigation, latest-first module browsing with optional version history, a restrained green-on-dark theme, consistent module menus, and native photo-workspace layout improvements. See UX review and verification.

Verification scope

The existing candidate passed 133 JVM tests and scoped Android 16/17 emulator acceptance, including module signatures, host containment probes, contacts, camera/gallery, offline native vision, measurement, and large-font layout checks. Some driver continuations are separate accepted runs, not one uninterrupted suite. Native secure photo views were checked through actual layout bounds and interactions, not pixel screenshots. Physical-device visual acceptance of alpha21 remains pending; the UX PR is still a separate review checkpoint.

Known limitation: realtime Snake gameplay remains unreliable on the Android 17 software-rendered emulator; Android 16 gameplay passed. Do not treat emulator results as a claim about every device.

Install / migrate

Install this APK over the existing pilot to retain data and grants. Do not uninstall merely to change hosting. In Settings, enter https://construct-20x.pages.dev/index.json and refresh Browse; consult catalog deployment instructions. The existing configured-catalog shortcut still points to the previous local deployment, so use the explicit new URL.

Personal contacts, photos, and module data are not part of the public catalog. Third-party notices are retained in the APK and tagged source. This is an early-access prerelease, not a hardened hostile-code sandbox.
