Supported devices
This list is generated from src/manifest.json on the Launcher WebPage branch, which is the same manifest that drives the device picker in the Launcher Flasher. It currently covers 79 builds across 9 vendors.
The flasher is the authoritative, always-current source. If a device was added after this page was written, it will appear there first.
Some product links are affiliate links, which support the project at no extra cost to you.
- Device is the name shown in the flasher's device picker.
- Chip must match your hardware. A build for a different chip family will not boot.
- Added in is the Launcher version that introduced the port, when the manifest records it. A blank cell means the manifest does not record one, which is common for recent ports and for merged multi-model environments. A version newer than the latest release means the port is merged but has not shipped in a stable build yet.
- Entries marked † are not listed by default in the flasher. Select the Beta release channel to reach them, or pick a release that actually shipped that binary.
Some entries cover several models at once, for example StickC & Plus or T-Embed All Models. Where a merged and a per-model build both exist, either one works.
- M5Stack and compatibles
- Headless builds
- CYD (Cheap Yellow Display) and clones
- LilyGo
- Custom and community boards
- Elecrow
- SeeedStudio
- Waveshare
- XTeink

- Find your device in the list above and note its chip family.
- Open the Launcher Flasher, pick the vendor and the device, then flash from the browser.
- If you would rather flash by hand, download
Launcher-{YourDevice}.binfrom the releases page and use ESPHome Web Tools oresptool.py.
For CYD boards, match the panel size and the touch controller as well as the chip — a 2432S028R build will not drive a 2432S028C panel correctly.
Launcher ports need only two files plus a CI entry, so new boards are not hard to add:
-
boards/[board]/platformio.ini— the build environment -
boards/[board]/interface.cpp— board-specific setup
DIY boards should also carry a boards/[board]/connections.md documenting the pinout. Per-board PlatformIO JSON files are no longer needed: there is one JSON per chip family under boards/_jsonfiles/.
See boards/README.md in the repository, ask on the Discord, or open an issue with your board's schematic and pinout.
