Major update focused on Alter (AI writing assistant), boards/todos, evaluation mode, documents, and admin AI controls.

Released from branch 399-feature-altsis-next-project-update-to-v20 (also tip of test-frontend / test-backend) at commit 2ef1d786. Not yet merged into dev.

Alter (AI)

• Global navbar Alter assistant (school-scoped conversations; board chat AI entrypoint consolidated into navbar Alter)
• Skills: syllabus / evaluation / archive / document / activity / response drafts, document review, grading draft
• Preview-then-confirm apply (no silent overwrite); attachments up to 10MB; page-context snapshots; PDF chunk search
• School AI guidelines library + skill linking
• Daily per-user Alt quota with usage shown in Alter and the dashboard

Boards · Activities · Todos

• Stronger search/chip filters, todo tab/badges, course-linked boards, board cloning, invite-only team chat rooms
• Evaluation mode separate from quizzes (rubric grading + confirmed publish)
• Sidebar/course badges count actionable todos only

Documents · Archives · Courses

• Markdown tables (borders/merge/print), unified student search, record print of current view
• School dashboard period/range filters with period-over-period deltas (traffic, AI, season metrics)

Admin

• Masked API keys + auto model discovery; OpenAI/Anthropic for production vs Gemini for test; minor-protection notices
• Feature toggles remain under school settings
