Invalid POM

When building a project with the maven-bundle-plugin I get following error:

[WARNING] POM for 'biz.aQute:bndlib:pom:1.50.0:runtime' is invalid.

Its dependencies (if any) will NOT be available to the current build.
[DEBUG] Reason: Not a v4.0.0 POM. for project biz.aQute:bndlib at D:\Libraries\m2\biz\aQute\bndlib\1.50.0\bndlib-1.50.0.pom

Please make sure that the pom does not contain linebreaks within . Otherwise it may lead to those errors.

maven support is going to be quite different in future releases, closing for now

Is there any chance that this will get fixed? It's quite annoying because it adds even more lines to our build log ... every time I read it to figure out some issue, I also have to read the warning messages.

Would it be possible to just release minor/patch releases which only fixes the formatting issue in the POM?
