Blanc 1.0.2

Blanc 1.0.2 improves the native Windows and Linux chrome and corrects the
optical size of Blanc's Windows taskbar icon.

Windows icon

  • Windows now uses one fixed Paper icon instead of exposing the macOS icon
    colorways in Settings.
  • The Windows icon is generated as a native nine-frame ICO from 16 through 256
    pixels, with the macOS-style transparent margin removed and the Blanc mark
    enlarged for better visual parity with other Windows taskbar icons.
  • macOS keeps its existing selectable icon colorways, including the supporter
    colorways.

Windows and Linux chrome

  • The native application menu has a dedicated upper-left hamburger button that
    stays legible over light and dark web pages.
  • Alt+F opens the same native menu regardless of which Blanc surface has
    focus.
  • About Blanc is now available from the native application menu.

Release integrity

The macOS, Windows, and Linux applications are built from the same v1.0.2
source tag and published with one SHA-256 manifest.
