1.2.5
Blanc 1.2.5
Fixed
- Blanc now keeps the sharp declared SVG or Retina website icon when a site also supplies an earlier low-resolution ICO. This restores the crisp Blanc mark in the Island without reducing compatibility for ordinary site icons.
- Website-owned favicon changes that happen after a page finishes loading, such as an unread-count badge, now remain visible instead of being replaced by the page's original icon declaration.
- Apple touch icons are used only as an availability fallback when a page has no ordinary desktop favicon, preventing mobile home-screen artwork from displacing a site's intended browser icon.
Release verification
- The signed packaged candidate checks Blanc's own icon pixels against Chromium's raster of its declared SVG, in addition to the two non-overlapping 25-site favicon matrices.
Other platforms
