What's Changed

  • Added BasicPlugin interface; FeaturedImageBlockFallback now implements it for type-safe Composer integration.
  • Renamed $uri/setUri() to $url/setUrl() to match the interface contract.
  • Constructor now accepts URL and path with sanitized defaults (esc_url_raw / esc_html).
  • Added buildPath() and buildUrl() helpers with filterable asset resolution:
    • featured_image_block_fallback_plugin_path
    • featured_image_block_fallback_plugin_url
  • Added getScriptAssets() supporting both index.asset.php and index.assets.php naming conventions.
  • Fixed plugin bootstrap: URL and path are now passed to the constructor (previously incorrectly passed to mount()).
  • Removed hardcoded "version" field from composer.json — version is now read from git tags.
  • Added .eslintignore to exclude instructions/ from linting.
  • Added readme.txt for WordPress plugin directory compatibility.

Upgrade Notice

If you were calling setUri() directly, update to setUrl().
