Welcome to etx-Templates for EdgeTX

New model templates for our ELRS RotorFlight electric and nitro R/C Helicopters
Thanks to Mike W. and Diego A. for the endless hours of testing and great ideas.

About etx-Templates

These templates have been created to quickly create new EdgeTx models for our standard ELRS RotorFlight configurations with all of the boilerplate stuff out of the way. The idea is...

  • new model
  • name it and maybe labels
  • bind or assign a receiver ID if using model match
  • customize widget settings, eg. battery warnings etc (or not)
  • verify that all controls are correct and setup is SAFE
  • GO FLY

Best used with etx-presets (for RotorFlight)

  • 2024.05.15 - v2.1 - adjusted RPM tele ratio to 0 to address EdgeTx 2.10.0-rc4 to 2.10.0 release changes

Requirements / dependencies

  • RadioMaster Tx16s MK3 (maybe earlier models - untested)
  • EdgeTx 2.12.x or later
  • RotorFlight 2.3.x or later
  • flight controller should have be prepared with etx-presets (for RotorFlight) or at a minimum the following telemetry sensors
    • ELRS: set telemetry_sensors = 1,3,4,5,6,7,11,12,13,14,15,21,22,27,28,42,43,46,50,60,88,89,90,91,93,95,96,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0
    • FRSKY: set telemetry_sensors = 3,4,5,6,7,42,43,46,47,50,21,22,27,28,60,88,89,90,91,93,95,96,1,15,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0,0

Start by creating a new model using the EdgeTx wizard...
