Supported Games

Kalium fully supports the following games. These are the games that can be run via Steam + Proton, detected automatically, and some games can be backpatched when needed. (BP) Means you can Backpatch. Backpatch is still a Beta feature until further testing is done.

NOTE: If you Backpatch and the game CTD (Crashes To Desktop) after, uninstall, make sure all left over files are deleted, then reinstall the game. This may happen with games with DLC.

NOTE: Mod support means what MO2 controls, not what Kalium sets up. Kalium only sets up the environment and changes a few INI settings.

Kalium will have a future feature to detect other games that MO2 handles, but the scope is low for now for targeted testing.

Backpatch Support (Skyrim SE/AE, Fallout 4, Starfield, Cyberpunk 2077, The Witcher 3)

You can backpatch any of the above games to a specific version using Steam depots.
Run:

/path/to/Kalium-1.1.0-x86_64.AppImage backpatch-skyrim -p /path/to/game/folder --game skyrim-se --target 1.6.1170
