v7.3.6 — Test release for update-check verification (continued)
Why this release exists
GitHub-only test release (same commit as v7.3.5). Replaces v7.3.4 in the same role: gives the local v7.3.5 instance something to detect as "newer" so the update notifier UI can be exercised end-to-end (sidebar badge, System → Updates badge, System Settings → General, and the new What's New page banner shipped in v7.3.5).
What to verify on the local v7.3.5 instance
- Sidebar — pulsing ↑ badge next to
v7.3.5. - What's New page header — new in v7.3.5: small "Update available: v7.3.6" chip between the title and the version+GitHub controls. Should fit on the same row as those controls (no header growth).
- System → Updates → Check Updates — Docker Dash row shows current
v7.3.5, latest7.3.6, yellow Update available badge. - System Settings → General → Check now — same status.
All four entry points should agree.
After verification: leave it as a noop reference, or delete with gh release delete v7.3.6 --cleanup-tag --yes.
