Download PostureBar-0.2.0-universal.zip, unzip it, and move PostureBar.app to Applications. The app supports Apple Silicon and Intel Macs.

Highlights:

  • Choose progressive buzzing or constant maximum volume.
  • Stop alerts automatically when camera frames become stale.
  • Reject unstable calibration samples and repair noisy saved baselines.
  • Replace repeated idle polling and menu-bar redraws with event-driven updates.
  • Use an explicit camera lifecycle for reliable start, stop, interruption, and retry handling.
  • Prefer an attached external webcam on initial setup, regardless of brand.
  • Explain posture detection and calibration in the README.

PostureBar is locally signed but not Apple-notarized. On first launch, use System Settings > Privacy & Security > Open Anyway if macOS blocks it.
