Packaging-only release — the application itself is unchanged since 0.3.3.

Software centres. An AppStream metainfo file (io.github.bolikcraft.vantah.metainfo.xml) is now shipped in the .deb, the .rpm, the AppImage and the tar.gz archive, and installed by packaging/install.sh. Without it Vantah did not appear in GNOME Software, KDE Discover or AppImage catalogues at all.

Self-contained tar.gz. The archive now carries the desktop entry, the AppStream file and the full hicolor icon set under share/, mirroring the /usr/share layout. Third-party packages can install menu integration straight from the archive instead of fetching the repository separately.

Application menu search. The desktop entry gained keywords, so the app is now also found by adguardvpn, tunnel, socks5, tun and tray (and their Russian equivalents).

AUR. A PKGBUILD for the vantah-bin package now lives in packaging/aur/, together with publishing instructions.

Every asset ships with a .sha256 file next to it:

Vantah is an independent, unofficial project, not affiliated with AdGuard. It does not bundle adguardvpn-cli — install the CLI yourself; a valid AdGuard VPN account/subscription is required.
