Highlights

• Ardour RAM / helper teardown: Closing a plugin window with Ardour’s default “only hide” preference left calfnxt-web-host parked (often hundreds of MB RSS each). Documented Ardour’s Closing a Plugin GUI Window preference (destroy VST UIs); GTK3 path deep-parks safely when hide-only; header warning tip with dismiss. With destroy-on-close, helpers exit like Carla/Reaper.
• Floating GTK4 helper (CALFNXT_WEB_HOST=gtk4 / CALFNXT_WEB_FLOATING=1): optional calfnxt-web-host-gtk4 — separate window, no XEmbed, quit-on-close. Useful when the GtkPlug embed stays blank or for a cleaner lifecycle.
• Blank UI (NVIDIA / DMA-BUF): documented workarounds (WEBKIT_DISABLE_DMABUF_RENDERER, floating GTK4, laggy CALFNXT_WEB_NO_GPU last) and upstream links — see README.
