What's new
Running lanyell twice no longer ends in an error the second time.
- Port auto-fallback: if the default port 3000 is busy, lanyell bumps to 3001, 3002, … until it finds a free one (up to +100). The banner and QR code always show the port actually in use, with a clear
note: port 3000 was busy, using 3001 insteadline. - Explicit ports fail loud: a port you named yourself via
--port/-pnever silently moves — it exits withport 3000 is already in use. Try another with --port. - Desktop app unchanged: the sidecar keeps its fixed-port startup contract with the Rust host.

What's new
Long messages no longer bounce off the 2,000-char wall — paste logs freely.
- Auto-split: the per-message cap rises from 2,000 to 100,000 chars. Anything over 10,000 chars is split into linked parts automatically (split points prefer line breaks and never cut an emoji in half).
- Stacked UI: a split group renders as one full card plus a single stacked edge —
+N more parts — click to expand. Clicking expands the whole group at equal width;▲ click to collapsefolds it back. - Copy = full original: Copy on any part copies the complete pre-split text, losslessly.
- Delete = whole group: deleting any part removes the entire group, so you never copy a half-group.
- Server hardening: request bodies are now capped at 1MB with a streaming check (413, connection cut instead of buffering), and chunked multi-byte characters are decoded correctly.
npm note: the registry jumps from 0.2.0 straight to 0.3.0 (0.2.1–0.2.4 were never published to npm).
npx lanyellusers get everything above after this release.
