acmart.zip lacks acmart.cls

Although the ACM v2.18 Overleaf template helpfully includes this it is missing from the downloadable ZIP file. If needed for reference or checking for logic/errors , the user has to install the package in a local TeX install and spelling around on the command line for this file which seems ... unhelpful. Bearing in mind most users would not know how to generate the CLS file for source, is omission of a copy helpful to the end-user?

FWIW, extracting the downloaded .zip archive and running make generates acmart.cls and the sample PDFs (although I don't know why I have to run make myself)

Yes, @shhyou, this may be true. But, politely, I've yet to meet a prospective ACM author (having to use LaTeX to submit†) who's expert in using LaTeX let alone fiddle under the hood with make—assuming they even understand what that is.

A conceptual error in the acmart offering is to misunderstand for whom it is being produced for and to over-estimate their understanding of LaTeX.

†. I know there is supposedly a Word-based option but that's buggy, even worse than acmart for usability, and has incomplete documentation. Word users are clearly not happy—I know as I've had to handle the complaints when managing ACM conference proceedings.
