What's changed

  • Starts on Node 18 and Node 20 before 20.19. 0.4.0 and earlier exited with ERR_REQUIRE_ESM on those versions, although engines says Node 18 or later. If npx -y @botwallet/mcp failed for you with that error, this release fixes it.
  • botwallet_x402_discover gives up after 30 seconds and reports TIMEOUT or NETWORK_ERROR with a next step, instead of waiting indefinitely or showing an error page as an empty catalog.
  • A ~/.botwallet/config.json that is not valid JSON is reported with its path and a warning not to delete it.
  • The botwallet://status resource says what to do next when the wallet can't be read, for example when no API key is set.
