• Progress bar — thin scroll indicator at the top
• Reading time — estimated reading time in the status bar
• Breadcrumbs — current heading hierarchy below the toolbar
• Back/Forward — navigation history after jumping to headings or links
• Minimap — scaled overview of the document on the right edge
• Collapsible sections — click headings to fold/unfold content
• Annotation highlights — select text and highlight with a color (persisted)
• Bookmarks — save scroll positions, jump back from a list
• Night shift — auto-switch to dark theme at night (8pm–7am)
• Split view — view two parts of the document side by side
