Released 11 Aug 2026. Moved here from the old per-plugin repo; same files, same notes.

Remove the peripherals. One dial: the stereo sides close in, the mono middle comes forward: the idea behind Goghini's Focus Frames™, applied to a stereo bus. A Goghini x Box Of Rules collaboration.

Four MOODs for how the shields close:

  • QUIET: pure side attenuation, surgical
  • CALM: the image narrows but the loudness stays (default)
  • PRESENT: the middle comes forward: presence lift + gentle saturation on the mid
  • DEEP: lows fold to mono first, highs last; 100 % is exactly mono

Stereo only, by design. Zero latency. 0 % is bit-exact passthrough. The mid is untouched in QUIET/CALM/DEEP, so your mono fold-down never changes character: only the width does.

  • macOS (10.13+, Intel + Apple Silicon): Focus-1.0.0-macOS.dmg: installer with AU, VST3 and LV2; Developer ID signed and notarized
  • Windows: Focus-1.0.0-Windows-VST3.zip: unzip into your VST3 folder (unsigned; SmartScreen: More info → Run anyway)
  • Linux: VST3 and LV2 zips: unzip into ~/.vst3 / ~/.lv2
