ClawInOne 0.1.0-alpha.1

ClawInOne makes one Android phone both the computer running OpenClaw and the
Android device it builds for and operates.

Highlights

  • Run the pinned OpenClaw Gateway inside Android's official AVF Debian environment.
  • Build Kotlin, NDK, Flutter, Godot, React Native, and Web projects on the phone.
  • Inspect, install, launch, and update generated APKs on that same phone.
  • Present Android workloads in the built-in scrcpy-based VScreen.
  • Observe and operate explicitly authorized Android apps with Android Use.
  • Use the same managed Debian environment through the built-in Terminal.

No root, companion PC, or separately deployed OpenClaw server is required.

Compatibility

The retained validation baseline is Pixel 8 (shiba) on Android 17 / API 37.
Tensor Pixel devices that pass every runtime probe—including Pixel 6 on Android
16 or later—are compatibility candidates, not yet verified support.

The exact signed APK in this candidate completed an in-place signed update and
cold launch on the retained Pixel 8. Existing app data referenced an expired
one-time Bootstrap, so this retained-device result is not presented as onboarding
validation.

Known limitations

  • Clean-device onboarding certification was not run for this local candidate;
    signed update and cold launch passed, while the retained one-time Bootstrap
    could not reconnect.
  • Broader device and lock-screen Android Use matrices are not claimed.
  • ChatGPT subscription pairing remains region-dependent; a real API-key route was verified.
  • Android Chrome CDP automation is not included.
  • This is an Alpha prerelease, not a stable distribution.
